An amalgamation of three inaugural address combine in this work to provide a vision for our country. These words are meant to inspire a sense of ownership and activism in the young people that sing this piece. Regardless of political affiliation, I ask that you look into the heart of these words to find a common ground to make our lives better.
Here is audio footage from all three inaugural addresses:
Shall we pause now and turn our back upon the road that lies ahead? Shall we call this the promised land? Or, shall we continue on our way? For "each age is a dream that is dying, or one that is coming to birth."
"in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive... In the face of our dangers, let us brave once more the icy currents, and survive what storms may come.”
The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it—and the glow from that fire can truly light the world.
